The world we are living in has become so polarized. People have strong opinions and they express those opinions - sometimes freely, sometimes under a garb. I like people who know how to express their opinion but people who like to thrust their opinions on others are a different story, altogether.
If I talk about motherhood in itself, there are varied opinions on each and every aspect of motherhood. You want to have a child or You don't intend on having one. You want to stay home with your children or You want to work so they can have a great future. You want to have a big family or focus your attention on just one child. All these channels of thoughts are polar opposites.
The thing is we don't stop at it. We don't stop at saying that Yes, I want a child or No, I would rather work and give my child a better future. We go a step ahead and tell others that see, I did it and so my way is the best way. I do not want children, so neither should you. I stayed at home for my children and so should you.
Why is it so hard for us to have perspective? Why is it so hard for us to walk a mile in someone else's shoes? Why have we suddenly become so polarized?
Talking of Polarized, Today's outfit is all about polar opposites. I am wearing a crop top with a pair of trousers layered with a black cardigan. The accessories in this outfit are metallic heels, structured bag and a gold cuff. I have tried to mix up laid back elements with work appropriate elements in this look.
