Verdict on Poker Face

Poker Face is an action thriller that sees one man prepare a big event for his close friends, only to see things spiral out of control. This sees his master plan come crashing down when a group of thieves break into his home.

The movie is a strange thriller because it starts with a clever plan put together. Only for things to go completely out of control and not get together to make the story feel as complete. This ends up feeling flatter than it imagines it wants to be. The clever style it wants to create just doesn’t come along strong enough.

Final Thoughts Poker Face is a thriller that lacks the intensity it believes it has.
