The third edition will be held from 5 to 8 June Archivissima, the Turin festival born in 2017 from an idea of Reminders to promote the heritages and stories preserved in the historical archives. An edition that, due to the health emergency, will be entirely digital: Archivissima Goes Digital aims to be an ambitious project, "a large audiovisual digital archive that will make the work of all participating companies usable over time, laying the foundations for new future sharing experiences".
In fact, all the bodies and entities involved will participate through the sharing of ad hoc podcasts, which will be available on the main audio platforms, from Apple to Google Podcasts, up to Spotify during the days of the Festival. The result is a rich schedule, which focuses on the figure of the woman with the aim of celebrating the female successes of which the story is disseminated and to witness the importance of the processes of transformation and change that in many areas women have knew how to activate.
On this occasion FILA Museum Foundation presents 'Women, athletes': an excursus that traces the history of the brand through its greatest champions. Through five podcasts (made with the collaboration of Audio Maker Ted Martin Consoli and the narrative voice of Manuela Tamietti) the lives of Deborah Compagnoni is Fiona May, the record-breaking tennis players Andrea Jaeger, Evonne Goolagong is Kim Clijsters, the soccer player Carla Overbeck and the basketball player Nikki McRay.
The podcasts will be online on www.archivissima.it and on the Foundation's Facebook and Instagram channels starting from 18.00 on Friday 5 June. Also on Friday 5 June, on the occasion of the Night of the Archives, an exclusive video will be broadcast on the Foundation's Facebook and Instagram channels at 20.00. With this project, the FILA Museum Foundation wants to tell the deeds of athletes but also the social and customs changes, as well as the achievements in the field of equal opportunities.
