Prime Minister Narendra Modi will communicate with leaders of various parties in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha through video conferencing on April 8 amid a nationwide lockdown due to Corona virus.
According to sources, the Trinamool Congress will not participate in the Prime Minister’s video conferencing on April 8 with leaders of various political parties in both houses of Parliament.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that the Prime Minister will communicate with the leaders of parties that have more than five MPs in both houses of Parliament through video conferencing on April 8 at 11 am.
It is believed that various issues related to corona virus and nationwide lockdown can be discussed in this meeting. This will be the Prime Minister’s first dialog with opposition parties after the lockdown.
Explain that amidst the corona crisis, PM Modi is constantly communicating with the people. Apart from the general public, he has also interacted with media institutions, sports personalities, chief ministers of various states.
In one such initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday appealed to the people to switch off the lights of the house at nine o’clock on the night of April 5 and light a lamp for nine minutes in the door or balcony of the house. But political statements have started coming from the leaders of the opposition and the opposition.
