Playmoss is the ultimate tool to manage music and video playlists by using YouTube, Vimeo and SoundCloud. Pressing play and listening to songs taken from these platforms in the order you want is no longer an utopia. And all this while you decide who will be part of your network of music influencers and interact with them while discovering the latest music releases.
Now Playmoss is launching a new website and mobile app for iOS and Android so you and your friends can access your playlists on your smartphone and play them whenever you need them, while waiting in the metro in the morning, in the gym or in a party to deploy your private library in its most drunken version.
Using the tool is as real as visiting playmoss.com and creating a profile to start building your own playlists. The new design not only features aesthetic and functional upgrades but also enhances interaction between users. Do you want to know who is following you and who is adding your playlists and tracks? Or who is linking your playlists? Are you interested in discovering music through the influencers you are following? With the new Playmoss, this is possible thanks to its intuitive nature and an improved user-friendly interface.
Playmoss works as a library of lost tracks, those that come to us throughout the day via blogs, emails and social networks which we don’t know where to store. However, the tool also claims the spirit of the playlist as a catalyst for emotions through a group of specific songs, the same ones we carefully choose and play in a very specific order in dedication to someone else or to ourselves. Playmoss wants to recover the philosophy of the legendary cassette and CD compilations in an updated format.
Although we do not recall any other major competitor in the apps market we think this is a great simple idea. Finally after testing it we would give a 4 star verdict, the developers would have done a much better job if the thought of an add-on and an extension for Chrome.
