Playing Tourist Guide -- The Golden Temple at Amritsar

By Bameskaur Pabla @bameslive
My friend is in town for a visit and it is her first time in India. As much as I would have really liked to be able to take her on a cross-country trip, I am unable to do so because my autoimmune problem makes me so tired. Plus, I can't leave my 82 year old Dad and my two canine babies all alone for more than a day or two.

So... I had to take my friend around nearby places which allowed us to leave in the morning and come back home the same day. Which meant that we go out every alternate day so I can keep up with all the housework, as well as have time to rest (plus the usual check up every two weeks).

Yesterday, I took Chona to the Golden Temple at Amritsar. Here are ze pics. Be warned that I am no pro photographer and I was using a point and shoot camera, as well as the camera on my Nexus 5
