Accused sexual predator Michael White

KDKA Channel 2 reports, March 6, 2013, that Pittsburg, PA police arrested Michael White, 29, a local high school teacher for forcing a female student to perform lap dances for the male students in his informational technology class.

Since White refused to allow police inside his home although the police had a warrant, the officers had to kick down his door.

The accusation against White was made by a 16-year-old student at Perry Traditional Academy, the second student to come forward.

The first student is a 15-year-old girl who, two weeks ago, accused White of “inappropriately touching” her.

The victim also says White kissed her on the lips while in the classroom, and asked her to a hotel party that included stripping, but she refused the invitation. According to the criminal complaint, a few days after that invitation, White convinced the girl to leave school without permission and during school hours. He drove the the teen to his Homewood home, gave her marijuana and alcohol, and then before having sex with her said, “It would be (expletive) if you got pregnant by a teacher.”

White is charged with two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, one count indecent assault, selling or furnishing liquor to minors, sexual assault, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor and institutional sexual assault of a minor.

Police say they will now go back to the school where they will talk to other students about possible inappropriate relationships with White.

White’s defense attorney Chuck Gallo insists “We have no reason not to be very skeptical of these allegations at this time.”

Meanwhile, White has been removed from the classroom until the matter is resolved.

Perry Traditional Academy is one of ten high schools in the Pittsburgh public school system. Its motto is “Knowledge for Service”; 66% of its students are blacks. In 2007, Perry had only 45% proficient or advanced in reading, 74% in writing, and 44% in math.

Reason no. ∞ to home school!
