It’s the last day of June, so I’m re-capping the mont that was on the blog this week – namely, as it applies to my favorite social media outlets. They are obviously Instagram and, my most favorite black hole of efficiency, PINTEREST (go ahead and bracket that with jazz hands, por favor.)
Here’s where you get a fun fact/humblebrag. I was a Pinterest beta user. Something got me through the waitlist and in the thick of home decor, all things chevron, and more Paleo recipes than I could shake a stick at. I’ll never know just what it was that let me into those hallowed halls, but now that I’m there I’ve made quick use of neatly organized boards full of all. the. engagement rings. All of ’em.
You’ll find me pinning daily, both rings on rings from DBRL and fine jewelry from RLJ. And, of course,a hefty dose of wedding & event inspiration too. And while I was using it to stalk last minute Father’s Day gift ideas earlier this month, I’ve let my heart and pin boards get carried away by high wedding season. And that means plenty of engagement ring eye candy for us all to enjoy!
First up, this stunning Verragio Classic setting. It stays at the top of my most saved Pins because it’s A. Stunning and B. A ridiculously amazing price point. Like half the price of other Verragio collections.
This trio of halos is another one of my favorite Verragio pins. It demonstrates the huge difference a shank can make in the ring’s overall feel. The top is a simple, white gold band with a gorgeous soft square halo center. The middle adds Verragio’s signature lace shank to the same center. And On the bottom, everything gets kicked up a notch with a double halo.
Oh how I love this Gabriel & Co. halo! Another soft square, it adds a bold set of shanks with large graduated round brilliant diamonds set in between borders of round brilliant diamond pave. It’s unapologetically bold and elegant at the same time.
I promise this isn’t a soft square halo round up – they just really are that popular! You can’t beat the look of a cushion cut but with the classic flexibility a round brilliant center diamond gives you, if you ever want to upgrade or update your setting. Anyway, this particular ring is another Verragio beauty, with two delicate diamond halos embracing a round center. The shanks are just barely split, and look mostly like a double shank from the aerial perspective. And if you think you love this in white gold? Oh my goodness you need to see it in its two tone and all rose gold ensembles.
Here we have – wait for it – another soft square halo! This time by Uneek. And it’s actually pretty similar to the Verragio number above, but with curvier edges and a more dramatic curve on the split shank. It also comes exclusively in platinum and it’s available only at Raymond Lee Jewelers, not DBRL.
Last but not least – wait, I can’t even say that. It is technically least, with the lowest number of re-pins. Help me change that, will you? This Verragio princess cut engagement ring needs more love! It deserves more swooning. The lace shank halo setting easily accommodates the round or princess cut diamond of your choice, and with several metal options you can customize it to fulfill your every dream.
What are you re-pinning to your Dream Weddings board this month?
