This was my second year shooting The Biggest Little Air Show, an R/C aircraft event put on by the Hiller Aviation Museum. Photographing scale aircraft is quite different, the aircraft are very twitchy and extremely maneuverable so they are hard to track with a long lens. On the other hand, prop blur is not much of an issue. (1/1000 sec in this case) One model that was the highlight was this 1:3.7 (27%) scale PC-21 powered by an actual scaled-down kerosene burning turboprop engine. Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
