Soul Train Awards 2017 went down Sunday night (November 5) in Las Vegas, and Toni Braxton, Tamar Braxton, SWV, Kirk Franklin, Erykah Badu and more were on hand to celebrate the night of music.
The Soul Train Awards 2017 were hosted for the third consecutive year in a row by Erykah Badu.
Badu, in one of her skits took a knee, and then took aim at Donald Trump and his horrible tweets.
As usual, Badu didn’t disappoint with her wardrobe changes or her ability to keep the crowd entertained.
Black-ish star, Anthony Anderson presented Toni Braxton with the Living Legend Award.
Toni took the crowd back during her performance…. If this is what 50 looks like bring it on!
It’s good to see Tamar Braxton out and enjoying herself after filing for divorce from husband Vincent Herbert. That looks like Vince in that purple blazer staring at Tamar, what ya’ll think? As an FYI, Tamar sat next to her mother Evelyn Braxton.
Tamar also performed her single ‘Blind’ during the show.
Bell Biv DeVoe presented SWV with the Lady Of Soul award.
SWV performed a compilation of their hits, and was joined on stage by Method Man.
Kirk Franklin, Ledisi, LeAndria Johnson, Major, and Daniel Caesar also performed together during the show.
Kirk Franklin, Ledisi, PJ Morton and Major are out now on ‘The Rebel The Soul The Saint’ tour.
Make sure to tune into the Soul Train Awards when they air on BET, Sun. Nov. 26th
