The 2017 Black Music Honors went down Friday night in Nashville for the second year in a row.  Performers took the stage to honor such legends as gospel Singer Donnie McClurkin, soul singer Oleta Adams, and the legendary Jackson’s.  Black Music Honors  benefit the National Museum Of African American Music, which will open its doors in 2019.  Show host Rickey Smiley and LeToya Luckett walked the carpet along with the honorees, and performers.

Co-host LeToya Luckett was still glowing from her engagement.

Singer Vivian Green arrived on the carpet, she also performed during the event.

Vivian Green and Shanice Wilson who also performed, took a moment backstage to strike a pose together.

Singer Nicole Mullen arrived on the carpet looking gorgeous in a blue gown for the event.

The legendary Bobby Jones was on hand for the Black Music Honors  as well.

Karen Clark Sheard performed a tribute to honoree, Donnie McClurkin during the show.

Show host Rickey Smiley and LeToya Luckett were cutting up on the carpet.
