{Picnic Blanket}

Outfit: Coat- Old Navy, Sweater- J.Crew, Skirt- J.Crew, Stockings- Old Navy, Boots- Old Navy, Necklace- J.Crew As my fiancé calls it, this is my picnic blanket skirt. But I love it and the way it looks with this wool sweater. Though this sweater isn't shown well in the pictures, it is 100% wool with 100% leather elbow patches. It was the last one at the J.Crew clearance store and I fell in love. Soft and comfortable are my kind of thing...making this outfit a new favorite! If y'all constantly follow along on the blog, you know that comfort is of major importance to me. The skirt was easy to move in and paired well with a number of different tops. Heck, I could have even layered the sweater but chose not to. Pairing a skirt with a sweater is a new go to. I'm trying to build my skirt and shoe collection in my closet...it seems that for the last ever. I've only been purchasing pants and tops, making unequal combinations in my wardrobe. I'm all about the balance in my closet and now I've finally started to acquire more than the basic pieces. What are you adding to your closet? xoBCC
