Ten tiny details that've made my week great.
There’s a lot to be said for appreciating the smaller, not necessarily finer details of the everyday mundane. The past week has been somewhat of a blur of work, admin for work, stressing about work and preparing countless invoices, in between all of the Pokemon Go excitement, and so I thought it'd be an apt time to perch on my Granny's armchair with a tea in hand and jot down some joyful notes from the past seven days.

一. Daisy moved in to my Animal Crossing: New Leaf town! I’m currently on a mission to repopulate my town with my favorite villagers and I’m over the moon that Daisy is here. She’s one of my all-time favourites!
二. Homemade frozen yoghurt popsicles. We made two batches and they’re the perfect summer afternoon pick-me-up.

三. Milo meets Harvey. That moment when your boyfriend meets your puppy and it’s just the cutest thing ever. Pooch-approved. Boom.
四. A delightful evening spent with Kim at Tombo! I’m so pleased to count Kim as one of my real-life friends. We had a lovely evening eating lots of good food and trading stories for another overdue catch-up.
五. Glistening golden sunlight flooding through the trees after intermittent bursts of rainfall. Need I say more?! *shakes first at the sheer absurdity of Britain’s summer*
六. Pokemon Go. My year-long wait has been so damn worth it.
七. The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. My favorite liquid lipstick formula and the color range is just perfect!

八. Managing to tick almost everything off my work to-do list before lunchtime meaning more time for activities! Like legging it after a Wartortle that’s spawned in the vicinity and chain-watching K-dramas for hours on end. And picking up a perfect pair of cross strap sandals from New Look.
九. Our halloumi and hummus burgers. Such a simple yet moreish summer lunch idea!
十. Long conversations with my Dream Team girls spanning every topic from British politics to Pokemon evolution tactics and from trading holiday tips to gin pairing ideas. These girls, they’re the greatest.
