This year’s Peterborough Beer Fest actually kicks off on Tuesday 25th August with a trade day and an open mic night for those staying into the evening.

On the 26th August, the festival becomes open to the public. To go along in the evening (after 3pm), it’s only £5 entry fee!

This is also the day that the live bands start playing, with an evening’s entertainment provided by Peterborough based band Grumpy Old Men.

With a substantial musical history between them, these guys pooled their resources and now get out and about in and around Peterborough, performing covers such as “Sit Down” by James, Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” and “Sultans of Swing” by Dire Straits.

On the night, they’ll be on stage from 8-9pm and again from 9.30-10.45pm, so get along, get some beers in hand and dance the night away!
