Let sleeping dogs lie: Sit and stay at this pet-friendly AirnBn-Beagle

People will be itching to travel once the COVID-19 travel restrictions are lifted, and dog owners can scratch that itch by visiting an Airbnb that takes pet-friendly to a higher level. Surrounded by grain prairies and mountain views, this doghouse is located at the edge of Cottonwood in rural Idaho. And by doghouse, I mean it is a literal bed and breakfast shaped like a Beagle! This Beagle Airbnb can accommodate four guests in its two-bedroom (three beds) and one bath tail-wagger of a space.

Dog Bark Park Inn B&B is owned by Frances, Dennis, and their golden retriever Sprocket. They are highly rated super-hosts on Airbnb. They are also artists who make their canine creations in their chainsaw carving studio. Many of their creations are available for purchase in their gift shop.

When you rent the Airbnb you have the entire B&B to yourself. That's right, you get the whole Beagle! You can curl up with selections from our dog-themed books from their library, or try your paw at one of the many canine games and puzzles. The B&B is cozy, clean, and boasts many favourable reviews from dog lovers who have stayed there in the past.

Cottonwood, Idaho may not be at the top of most people's list of places to travel, but this unique spot is sure to tug on the leash of any dog lover who is looking to travel to a place that's one of a kind. Escape your busy life in the small town of Cottonwood. The famous Hells Canyon Gorge of the Snake River is nearby. Explore it on one of the jet boat tours that run spring through fall. Experience the Nez Perce native history and culture at interpretive sites and towns nearby. Or curl up on the second story deck and star-gaze. See if you can spot some shooting stars over the mountains.

This spot wouldn't be a true doghouse if it wasn't pet-friendly. Bring along your pooch and see what type of reaction your dog has to this giant Beagle home! Have you stayed at the Dog Bark Park Inn B&B before? Let me know in the comments!
