Pervez Khatak to Become KPK Chief Minister

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has approved the name of Pervez Khatak for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister.

PTI spokesperson Dr Shireen Mazari said the decision has been made after consultation with party leaders.

The president of PTI KPK chapter Asad Qaiser and newly elected MPA Atif Khan were the other contenders for hot-seat after PTI emerged as the largest party in the province on May 11 election by securing 35 seats.

PTI will make the government in KPK with the support of Jamaat-i-Islami, Qaumi Watan Party and independent candidates.
