Farris Wheel Antiques and Collectibles: Peru, Indiana
Located in a home turned antique shop, Farris Collectibles in Peru, Indiana is so amazing you should drop everything and go visit!
Although I intended on browsing around, taking pictures when something caught my eye–even I couldn’t leave this Indiana antique shop empty-handed!

Kid #1 and I got in there first (yes, we did ditch hubs and Kid #2). In our defense: this place was full of stuff and we wanted to get exploring!
The furniture here is incredible! I found the desk of my dreams…and it was on hold for someone else. Bah!
There were a lot of gorgeous pieces of furniture that easily have come home with me. You know, if I wanted to leave the rest of the family behind.
What’s really fun is that many of the pieces boast a fresh coat of Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint. If you haven’t seen this stuff in action, you are missing out! They also carry the paint so you can give your tired pieces new life (and a bit of whimsey).

But there’s way more than furniture and paint. Farris Wheel Antiques and Collectibles truly has an amazing assortment of Indiana antiques of all kinds.
Glassware, brooches, vintage stuffed animals, home decor, cooking gadgets…we picked up a set of tin measuring cups for mere cents for our boys’ play kitchen.
We also ended up bringing home a handful of vintage board games (you know how much I love those) and the kids have since had a great time playing them. We all have!
With two floors of antiques to poke through in this Miami County shop, you’ll want to leave yourself time to really look! Especially when you hit the upstairs–each room is themed and beautifully arranged. Country, classic…it’s really neat.
