People Willing to Give Up Their Friends Instead of Their Smartphone

In addition, 74 percent of the participants have confessed that they keep their phone within reach throughout the entire day. 60 percent claimed they sleep with their phones. 17 percent of women participants said they would give up their best friend for a week instead of their smartphone. The survey also found out that 23 percent of Americans spend over $1,000 on new smartphones and tablets a year.

With new technologies being released every day, people appears to be getting too addicted to being virtually connected all the time. Even though it is a good thing, it also brings up a valuable question – can they also stay connected with people in real life the same way?
