WSRE presents “Delicious Afternoon…The Gathering of Friends” Tea Party on Sunday, April 27, 2014 in
Pensacola, Florida from 3-5 p.m. at the Versailles Event Center in downtown Pensacola.
An annual event hosted by WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast, this year’s tea party is all about creating fond
memories as you “gossip and gab” with family and friends. Slow down and enjoy life’s tasteful moments as you
experience the joy that comes from simply gathering around a table together.
Guests will enjoy savory tea treats and beverages from Nancy’s Haute Affairs along with the soothing jazz
tunes of Joe Occhipinti.
This year’s honorary chair is Dona Usry, a longtime community volunteer and strong supporter of WSRE and
this annual fundraiser.
Featured guest speaker Michelle Huxtable, an interior designer, author and talented chef from Utah, will share
her creative spin on cooking, entertaining and bringing people together in a special way.
Huxtable’s cookbook series “The Gathering of Friends” emphasizes enhancing traditions, fortifying
relationships and celebrating life, combining savory recipes and elegant designs in many stunning gatherings.
