We're headed back to Wales on today's episode of A Tasting at The Murder Table for a wee chat about the Penderyn Portwood Single Malt Welsh Whisky. Over the past year or so, we've been lucky enough to sample many a Penderyn whisky, and we gotta admit, we've become big fans.

This is where we tell you what the distillery has to say about this particular expression, but sadly, as was the case with the other Penderyns we've sampled, they don't tell you all that much about it. Here's what they had to say about their Portwood:

This Portwood-finish whisky is a firm favourite among our customers in France and a real attention grabber. It is bottled at 46% ABV.

Talk about brief! Our guess is that instead of spewing a a bunch of marketing mumbo-jumbo, Penderyn just lets their whisky speak for itself. We respect that.
