Verdict on Pedro Páramo

Pedro Páramo is a horror drama about a small town that lived under an infamous figure. It takes us through a journey of their lives and how much damage was done by reputation. However, it takes a twist in a direction you wouldn’t expect.

This movie dives into small town environments and how reputations can take over and cause lasting damage. However, it tends to jump around a lot and takes us down a dysfunctional path where it is hard to keep on top of things. It has scenes which open up questions, but slowly return to lead us to nowhere fast. There is a lot of ambition here, but it doesn’t hit as hard as it imagined.

Where to Watch

Final ThoughtsPedro Páramo wants to bring us something mysterious but ends up doing too much.
