Peas Paratha/ Matar Paratha

Today I choose Green Peas Paratha recipe to share with all of you. For this recipe, you have to boil and crush the fresh green peas and mix with spices and lemon. If you want little sweetness, then add 1/2 tsp. of sugar in stuffing. You can serve Peas paratha with curd and mango or chili pickle. I tried various types of stuffed paratha like aloo pyaz paratha, gobhi paratha, paneer paratha, methi paratha or mooli parataha. It’s an easy to prepare and perfect option for kids lunch box and dinner or breakfast menus.

Ingredients: For Dough 2 Cup Wheat flour Enough Water 1/2 Tsp Salt Clarifying Butter/ Desi ghee, shallow frying
For Stuffing 1 Cup Fresh Peas, boiled 2 Green Chili, chopped 1/4 Cup Green Coriander, chopped Salt to taste Red chili to taste 1 Tbsp. Coriander Powder 1/2 Tsp. Chaat Masala 1/2 Lemon Juice

Instructions: Mash the boiled peas and Combine all ingredients of stuffing together in one bowl. Knead the firm dough with wheat flour, salt and enough water. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out the each portion into round as chapatti. Place the 2 tbsp. stuffing and close the edges. Flatten and roll out again in round form. Heat the griddle or tawa on medium flame and place the paratha on tawa. Cook the paratha on tawa both sides using desi ghee until to golden. Serve hot peas parathas with curd and pickle.
