Story: Peak Season starts when Max (Coleman) and his girlfriend Amy (Restrepo) move to a small country town. Max wants to enjoy the open air more and escape from the big city. However, Amy must decide what she wants with her life away from the corporate world.

Amy meets local wilderness guide Loren (DeBlasis) who shows him the best sights in the area. She learns more about his carefree style of life, which opens her mind to having more of an escape from what she once had. However, it is Loren who starts to learn the most about his life with the friendship.

Verdict on Peak Season

Peak Season is a drama following an engaged couple starting a new life in a quiet country town. However, they soon start learning things about the locals and what they want from their futures. It sees them touching the lives of others around them, as they search for the best outcome.

This movie shows us the slow pace life can present. It shows us that people can find peace and harmony in places they never imagined. We get the unlikely friendship, which could be more or not, that gets complicated because one is engaged. It all plays out nicely with the will they won’t they idea, with the message of you never know who could help you see life a different way.
