I’ve been a little remiss with cocktail night, I know how did that happen! I recently ordered some passion fruit puree so I thought tonight would be perfect for a little experimenting! So here goes….
Passion Fruit Martini
50ml gin
50ml Passion Fruit Puree
15ml Cointreau
15ml Passoa
7ml fresh lime juice
Put all the ingredients in a shaker with plenty of ice. Shake. Strain into a martini glass and enjoy! This was a pretty sour drink which I thought was surprising, I was expecting the passion fruit to possibly be a little sickly but totally wrong on that score. I’ve looked at a few recipes online since and it seems that some add sugar syrup, so if you have a sweet tooth you may want to do this.
