Partyfields Weddings, a unique environment to hold a humanist wedding blessing and celebration.
Just a short distance from me in Wimborne, Dorset – a beautiful natural woodland setting, with dedicated ceremony area and rolling fields.
Davina & Frank’s celebration was my first humanist wedding ceremony to document and capture.
Relaxed with a naturally flowing vibe through out the day. Plenty of love and connection between bride & groom, their family and friends.
The ceremony area was a great spot to exchange vows, being a large wooden decked area surrounded by high woodland banks. A setting that screamed out to me for a wide scene setting landscape shot.
So a couple of jaunts were made during readings and songs, tip toeing through the bog land area between the ceremony area and the higher over looking viewpoint. An important scene setting picture, well worth the risk factor involved.
Post ceremony a drinks reception followed, before the couple and I took a few moments out for some portraits. All of us speeding off in their hired convertible Mustang to another part of the Partyfields wedding area.
I loved the experience, capturing the freedom of their day, following it through till the first dance and Ska band kicking off the evening party.
With Davina & Frank, now back in South Africa, its wonderful to share a few select frames, just ahead of them receiving the complete full edit.
Looking forward to the feedback, its always appreciated and insightful. Congratulations Davina & Frank!
