Verdict on Para Betina Pengikut Iblis

Para Betina Pengikut Iblis is an Indonesian horror movie following a young woman trying to save her father. However, once she starts seeing the demon, the lines get drawn about what she should and shouldn’t do.

This is a horror that gets moments of shock throughout the runtime. It tends to break the traditional idea of nightmares and jump scares to give us more effect. However, the overall story behind everything going on feels a bit mixed. There isn’t enough shock to the story and it is one that feels more covered in traditions. In the end, this is a solid enough horror and does what it needs to do for scares and effects.
