Paneer Tikka(oven Method)

By Harini
I loved cooking this paneer tikka more than eating it.I first tasted tikka dishes in barbeque nation. They serve different kind of vegetables as starters before the buffet and we used to get stuffed even before beginning with the buffet :). Ever since I saw those tikka,I was fascinated by the way they were cooked and served on a skewer, but never thought I would be cooking it in my own kitchen one day :P. Fast forward few years and after marriage, when I started cooking and acquired an oven, the first thing I wanted do was this tikka.Indeed this was the first dish even my husband asked me to cook and guess what I made it after 4 years :P. the other day I ate this in a restaurant again and I was determined to make at home immediately. So here is paneer tikka right from my oven.I wonder why it took so much for me to try this, given to the simplicity of the recipe.Just mix spice powders in thick curd, toss paneer cubes and veggies, marinade and cook. Can it get any simpler?. You can play with spices,increasing/decreasing,changing them etc.In restaurants the marinade was coated for almost 1" above the cubes but I coated mine slightly less and liked this way better.I had tough time shopping for skewers and ended up ordering it online
