paneer kali mirch recipe - paneer in creamy peppery gravy
paneer kali mirch recipe - how to make paneer kali mirch recipe - no tomato recipe
paneer recipes after a long time in my blog and made this recipe last month for lunch. The recipe is so easy to make and there is no tomato in the recipe, add just onion paste along with yogurt/curd with black pepper powder or with crushed black pepper.
I saw this recipe in few blogs and i adapted this recipe from one of my friend's blog,Jeyashris kitchen who made this wonderfully and the color itself looks more appealing.I did not added cream or milk in the recipe and i avoided it as i added yogurt in the recipe.Used black pepper powder and a very small amount of extra red chilli powder, just for flavor is added in the recipe. The secret for this recipe is to make perfect brown onions ,best option is to saute the onions in low flame to achieve even color and there is no chance of burning in the bottom of the pan.
That day i made pulao along with this recipe and V tasted it and told this is very unique compared to other paneer recipes.I took that masala only and did not took the paneer pieces as i was avoiding it nowadays. If you are feeling more calories like me,then substitute it with vegetables like baby corn, beans, cauliflower or with broccoli.
Made another recipe with leftover paneer and will post it soon in future and it is entirely different in flavors.Actually i wan to make paneer pulao for the blog as i tried few times before,so confidently planned that but somehow i made two different curry/gravy using paneer that week.today i planned to post a sweet ,but this is in my drafts for weeks ,so want to post it first. This recipe can be perfectly paired with Indian flat breads or with pulao varities. This recipe is not more spicy, very mildly spiced,so you can paired this with spicy biryanis too.
Today Shivaratri, everyone busy in your schedule and we mostly make steamed sweet potato ,sundal and some rice dumplings. This year, i planned to make a kheer or sweet with sweet potato for the Poojai today.During my college days,Amma makes these and keep it ready for prayers or sometimes, the poojai done before we return.lets move on making the recipe.,
