How To Make Chicken Curry

A mainstay in Indian cuisine Paleofied! Enjoy a warm, creamy and absolutely flavourful chicken curry.

Ingredients


  • 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • Small piece ginger (chopped)
  • 2 x 3 finger pinch turmeric
  • 4 x 3 finger pinch cumin
  • 2 x 3 finger pinch chilli powder
  • 2 x 3 finger pinch pepper
  • Small sprinkling of fresh chopped coriander
  • 500 g coconut milk yoghurt
  • 1 kg chicken pieces
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 onions (chopped)
  • Salt

Method


  1. Mix chicken, garlic, ginger , turmeric, cumin, chilli, pepper , coriander, yoghurt and salt and set aside to marinate for about 4 hours (or overnight in a fridge)
  2. Heat oil and fry onions till golden.
  3. Add chicken and marinade bring to simmering point, cover and cook until the chicken is tender, this takes around 30 minutes.
  4. Serve and enjoy
