DPRK state media reported on September 23, 2016 (Friday) that State Affairs Commission Vice Chairman and DPRK Premier, Pak Pong Ju [Pak Pong-chu], visited Namp’o and Wo’nsan Ports “alive with the drive” for allocating resources needed to recover from the recent flood damage. He was briefed about loading cement into the cargo ship. He then attended consultative meetings in which he discussed the safe sailing of the cargo ships and expediting the loading and unloading of the cargo. It was then stressed that the crewman of the ships should “concentrate all forces and means” on the allocation of materials. Pak Pong Ju has also taken measures to boost the materials needed for this processes via trains.
