So it’s a bit later than I’d have liked but finally here it is; our second day coverage of the Oz Comic Con Perth cosplay and if you thought there were some great costumes on day one, be prepared because the day two crowd went all out.

Captain Jack and Bats

SGC Troopers

Lady Avengers!

As a massive fan of the series, I was pleased to see some Batman Beyond cosplay

Set phasers to rad!

One of the best Assassins, and best Links, in the one place!

And then…

A FREAKING CATBUS!

With totoro! Seriously. This just made our day. The effort involved (they made it themselves)…

And not to be out done, this guy made a mother-effing Zerg!

It was great to see some of the younger guys and girls getting into the cosplay, and putting in a ton of effort.

Gunther!

We met a great Snow Trooper.

Then we met a great Batgirl!

Then they met each other and had a fight! True story

Chris Redfield. Outstanding work.

Not to mention Supergirl here

Funny story; the guy dressed as Khal Drogo had a broken wrist. So he got Jason Momoa to sign the cast. Amazing.

It’s Batgirl again! With Red Robin! Outside the Bridal convention haha

Kid Joker here was seriously into the idea of having his photo taken. Good thing too because these guys look rad.

Best. Rorshach. Ever. (He even spoke in the grumbly voice).

This is a Goa’uld, piloting a stroller, dressed as the USS Enterprise. Let that sink in for a bit.

Great Two-face. SUPERB Darth Maul.

DUFFMAN! OH YEAH!

The truly enterprising Pikachu on the left had a sign for $1 hugs on the reverse of the sign.

“Do not run. We are your friends”

We were truly surprised not to see a single Lara Croft on day one. Not only did this attendee make up for it by doing an excellent job (like seriously) but also we made her happy by not thinking she was Katniss Everdeen.

This family dressed as the Scooby Doo cast. Now that is parenting done right. Awesome work.

Harley and Joker.

A more classic look Lara Croft, which was also most welcome (I heart Tomb Raider)

BROCK FREAKING SAMPSON! First Brock cosplay I have ever seen in person.

Attendee (who told me his name, and I forgot it, because I’m stupid) and his Emily K. Smith drawn commission portrait!

As a special addition we have two day one shots given to us by awesome geek-buddy Capey to make up for mine being so terrible yesterday!

Shay Webster and friend as an awesome Black Canary and Green Arrow. (Photo credit: Luke Caporn)

Black Cat and Catwoman!  (Photo credit: Luke Caporn)

All in all, this was a great weekend for costume spotters. The attendees did an amazing job, and it’s going to be hard to pick favourites but pick we shall. Come back during the week for more articles from the convention, and our top five guys and gals of cosplay.
