Oxblood

I don't know about you, but I have well and truly embraced this miserable weather - boots, jackets and an extra pair of socks as standard! As I said last week, although I much prefer the warm weather, I do love autumn/winter fashion and always get excited seeing the collections change around this time of year. I'm loving the oxblood trend this season; we saw a bit of it last year, but I plan on fully embracing it this time round! I don't wear enough red - I love it as a color but am usually put off by bright garish reds. This muted, deep almost aubergine shade however is gorgeous and so much more wearable. So now payday has come and the rainy weather seems to be pretty well set in, I will be stocking up on boots, chunky knits, casual dresses and warm accessories. Hello autumn!
