Over-sized Bow

By Britishcouture
Yesterday's weather had seaside written all over it, so I did just that. Despite living by the sea I ventured round the coast several miles south towards Deal.

The promenade was bustling with lots of restaurants and pubs filled with happy locals and tourists.

I felt it necessary to take a photo of my big teddy bow, which is infact my dad's tie, 'tied' onto my head, and styled into a bow.

After walking along the seafront, and in search of a tearoom, tucked down a little side street off the town center was just what we was looking for.

And of course we couldn't say no to this.

This place was just perfect. It had seating both downstairs and upstairs and every wall you looked on was filled with a variety of different clocks tick tocking.

And what made it even more special is that all their cakes are freshly baked in the kitchen out the back. The scones were so light and fluffy, they were delicious!

After devouring a cream tea and leaving with a rather happy tum, we ventured off down the little back streets off the seafront to the shops. The shops were spilling out on to the street with all their wonderful things.

After heading back towards the sea, I stumbled across 'The Boathouse'. A glitzy and contemporary bar and restaurant situated right on the doorstep of the sea with the most stunning views. What more could you possibly want?

After a walk back along the seafront...

We snapped up a bench right on the front, ran across the road like excited children, and grabbed a 99 from the Ice Cream parlour in all its retro glory.
