It’s football season! I have to admit, I’m not a an avid fan, but the husband is, so I try to do my part. This usually involves me making some delish football food to watch the game with! I decided to share my tried and true recipe for oven baked wings. These oven fried buffalo wings are a football season staple in my house, and you can toss them with any number of tangy sauces, including barbeque, hoisin, or any number of fancy sauces you can come up with. Buffalo is my personal favorite, I’m a bit of a purist, what can I say? You can feel good about serving these to friends and family since there’s no frying involved! Let’s make some wings!
24 chicken wings
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt & pepper
Oil mister or cooking spray
2/3 cup of your fave buffalo wing sauce (I like Steve & Ed’s)
Season the wings with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder. Place the wings onto a baking rack, and place the baking rack onto a baking sheet lined with foil.
Broil the wings for 45-50 minutes or until crunchy, flipping occasionally to promote even cooking.
Place the wings into a bowl, and pour the sauce over them. Toss thoroughly to coat.
Serve these delish babies with blue cheese or ranch dip, and get ready to share the recipe, because this will disappear quickly! Enjoy the game!
