There have been few times that my mom and I go after the same item, and when we do its usually cute flats or JCrew Factory tees, last year it was this coat. This beautiful full of body dark camel wool coat from BCBGMaxazaria. In all honesty this year was the first time I really started wearing it, before I felt it was a little too mature, or nice something! That seems to happen with a lot of things my mom picks out for me, loving them but feeling as thought I need to be a tad older before I really put them in full wardrobe rotation.
If you don't remember the story of this necklace from two summers ago here is quick summary: It is by the amazing Angela Caputti, whom I had sold at A Bientot and coveted. Then in Italy when my teacher announced we would be going to her flagship store which doubles as the workshop, I got to meet her and had this necklace made for me. It was a serious dream come true, and is one of my favorite pieces that I have.
