If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the hashtag "summer of passion". Myself and my husband have proclaimed this summer we are going to be dating again.
Don't get me wrong, we always try to go on dates and keep the spark going. Life happens, our babysitter was in college and date nights became fewer and further between over the LONG winter we had. The pattern of co-parenting and surviving the kids needs comes into play and you need to break that cycle and get back to the two of you. So that is exactly what we are doing this summer. Hence, the summer of passion.
This night my hubby took me to the place we ate the night he proposed, and we have also eaten there on two of our wedding anniversaries. It's good eating, but mostly it's romantic because we have history there. We then headed over to the movies and laughed our butts off to Neighbors.
This is my second time wearing this beautiful jumper. I love the length, the wide leg detail, and especially the open back. Because my scars are still healing I decided to add a bandeau bra instead of going fully backless.
We ended up having an amazing much needed date night out! You will be seeing LOTS of date night outfits and summer of passion hashtags over on my Instagram in the coming months. What can I say, I love my husband and any excuse to spend some extra time with him is fine by me!
What do you do to keep the spark going in your relationship/marriage? Have you seen the movie Neighbors yet?
