Gone Green: Up-cycled braided fabric necklace c/o Howrah Bridge
So here I am, shivering like a Aspen in the Emerald City. And, just 'round the bend, the green-soaked and greatest of American drinking holidays known as St. Paddy's Day. I was reminded by Terry, via Twitter that my favorite fashion meme, Everybody Every Wear was celebrating the color green this month, and that got my shivering legs in motion, and me hunting down my own version of homage to this color of forests, fauna and envy.I did enjoy hamming it up indoors however, since it was too cold + gray + rainy to get any good pictures outside. Believe you me, I tried. Nothing like sliding on a wood floor and posing in front of a nervous kitty to remind me how silly I can be. I also enjoyed the beautiful fresh tulips that I got as a parting perk for attending the Nordstrom Rack Opening Tweet-up. I was honored to be asked (along with lots of other bloggers + social media types) to attend a sneak preview of the new location and bonus pre-opening shop session at the Nordstrom Rack in Westlake Center. The store is a beaute, the people who work there are sweet as sugar cubes, and the shoe department was full of temptation. In short: a very fun time. Grand opening is Thursday, March 15th, 9 am, so if you're in Seattle, here's a chance to get some shop on and maybe even win a $2000 shopping spree!
