If you live in the North-East area then you have been experiencing horrible winter weather like me. You know, the snow, rain and sometimes just straight ice falling from the sky. I am so over it and since I can't physically beat up Mother Nature, I guess I will just deal with it. I have already said in my previous posts, that it is totally difficult to dress for this weather. I mean, you want to be warm yet fashionable. I tend to invest a lot in my outerwear. I have a coat that I wear almost daily, I call that my "everyday coat" and I have the few in between. Truth be told, I actually just picked up a new one today at TJ MAXX-but that is besides the point. Before today, I think I only purchased two coats this year, which is pretty good because the norm is three. Well, I guess now I am at three.
Moving on..........
I have a few thrift shops out here in NYC that I rely on to give my wardrobe that pick me up it needs without the expense. While shopping in my favorite one, down in Williamsburg, Brooklyn I found this gem of a coat! I picked it up right away and held on for dear life! The price was right, and it was added to my winter (outerwear) wardrobe! While strolling the streets the other day with the boyfriend, I felt inspired to do a "Outer Layers Only" look, because lets be honest, I was too bundled up to even think about taking off any of my layers for a photo-op!
