Every Thursday we bring you The Daily Constitutional guide to the best of London shopping – independent, one man- and one-woman bands, unique boutiques, singular emporia and London institutions.
These are our favorite shops. To nominate your favorite shop for inclusion send us an email with a short description and a brief reason why you think it is the best shop in London.
Blaqua
What: Shirts. Exquisite shirts.
Where: 9 Newburgh Street, Soho, London, W1F 7RL
Why: We’ve been following (and wearing) Blaqua’s shirts since they were plain old Oliver London (with not so plain shirts, of course) based in a small shop down in Forest Hill.
They moved to their spiritual home in Soho a few years back and their designs have gone from strength to strength.
If you’ve spotted a shirt on the street here in London that’s stopped you in your tracks with its sheer stylish audacity, then it’s probably a Blaqua. Great cufflinks, too.
Blaqua’s website is HERE.
