Oscar Countdown Begins.....

It was another cold couple of days in the Midwestern United States. I actually had to scrape off some ice from the driveway today; it was rather dreadful. I don't know how people live in Siberia. So my job interview yesterday went extremely well. I won't say that I got the job, but it seems like I'm on that track. Next week I'm going on a shadowing excursion with one of the employees, and then after that we shall see what comes of it. The job seems like it is a huge step up from what I was doing before at the group home, and there will be no physical restraining at all; I'm more like a case manager of sorts that helps the clients manage crises. If I get this job it will be a nice, new challenge. My nephew got the Wii "Just Dance" 3 & 4 for his birthday, so as of late I've been using them to get some aerobics/cardio in, and surprisingly enough it seems to be quite effective. I got some more of my political drama written today, and I think I'm about finished with it; just a little longer and I should be done. Then what, I'm not certain. I feel like there should be a whole lot more that I should be recalling to write about, but I've got nothing. I watched X-Men: First Class, and it was okay, although I believe I still maintain my original critique of it. Entertaining, but that's about it. February 24th is the date of the Oscars! 23 days to go. So like last year I will go through the nominees of all the categories, pick who I want to win, and then pick who I think the Academy will choose. To start we have: Best Picture. Amour, Life of Pi, Argo, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Django Unchained, Zero Dark Thirty, and Les Miserables. Of all of these films I have seen only one; Lincoln, which was amazing. However, I believe the Academy will end up choosing Silver Linings Playbook and I would choose Argo. Personally I think it's down to three films which could win: Silver Linings Playbook, Argo, and Zero Dark Thirty. Most of the films look very good, but those three stand the best chance. Should be interesting what get's chosen, and then how close I was. Ciao!
