Story: Operation Black Ops starts when former soldier Noah (Ortiz) gets a chance to redeem himself. He is tasked with putting together a team to rescue a fellow soldier. Noah turns to the best, Schroder (Ferguson) and Chicago (Cyborg) to return to his team and they look to get into a Neo-Nazi compound.

As Noah rounds off his team, we see another agent trying to get into the compound. When the two teams meet, they find themselves needing to fight against the numbers to make it through and capture the desired assets.

Verdict on Operation Black Ops

Operation Black Ops is an action thriller following a group of mercenaries trying to take down a stronghold. It follows them putting their team back together as they prepare for an unknown level of threat.

This is an action movie that puts together the basic idea of recruiting a team for a job. It develops the plan for the characters to go through, which works well for the movie. However, once it comes to the action side of the movie, things start to fall flat. The action is tame and considering we have plenty of UFC stars, we barely get any combat in the movie. It falls into the shooting a lot and a couple of people fall down. The location doesn’t feel like they are being outnumbered and by the end, everything seems to fizzle out. It feels like it wants to be like The Expendables but falls a long way short.

Final ThoughtsOperation Black Ops is a lacklustre action movie.
