Opening date of Badrinath temple have been read out by the priest every year. This year Badrinath temple will be open on Monday, 09 May 2016. 
As every year Badrinath temple door opens on  Shukla Paksha Tritiya in the month of Vaishakha (between mid April - mid May ) on the auspicious occasion of  Akshaya Tritiya (  also known as Akha Teej ) festival which is celebrated in Hindu communities.
