Eligibility Criteria of ONGC Apprentice Recruitment
Age: Candidates' age should be minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 24 years as of 15.05.2022. That is, the date of birth of the candidate/applicant should be between 15.05.1998 to 15.05.2004. Age Relaxation: Category wise age relaxation is given below.- SC/ST: 5 years

3. Secretarial Assistant: ITI in trade Stenography (English)/Secretarial Practice.
4. Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA): ITI in COPA Trade.
5. Draughtsman (Civil): ITI in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade.
6. Electrician: ITI in Electrician Trade.
7. Electronics Mechanic: ITI in Electronics Mechanic.
8. Fitter: ITI in Fitter.
9. Instrument Mechanic: ITI in Instrument Mechanic.
10. Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance: ITI in Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance.

Duration: The duration of training is 12 months for all trades mentioned above. Stipend: As per the Apprentices Act, apprentices are eligible for a monthly stipend during the period of their appointment as given below.
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 9,000/-
- Trade Apprentice (1 year IT): Rs. 7,700/-
- Trade Apprentice (2 years IT): Rs. 8,050/-
- Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 8,000/-
Selection Process of ONGC Apprentice Vacancies
1. The selection for the appointment of Apprentice will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the merit obtained. In case of equal numbers in the qualification, the person with higher age will be considered.2. No publicity or influence will be accepted at any time and may be submitted for non-consideration.
3. Reservation of posts on SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories will be followed as per the policy of the Government of India, as applicable for the appointment of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Before applying for the above ONGC Apprentice Posts, candidates must first register themselves in the online portal of the following agencies of the Govt. of India:(A) Trade - Accounts Executive & Office Assistant: For Trade Accounts Executive & Office Assistant with National Skill Development Council (NSDC) at https://apprenticeshipindia.org/. (B) Other Trade Apprentices: with Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) at https://apprenticeshipindia.org/ (Trades mentioned in Serial No. 3-20)
(C) Technician Apprentices: With the respective Regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) in its portal National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

After successful registration with the above agencies, a registration number will be generated and the candidate will have to mention this registration number while applying for apprentice posts on ONGC's website.
