One minute more
Craig Ballantyne, the new editor of Early To Rise ezine www.earlytorise.com – wrote an engaging article about getting up early – however the part of it I want to mention today is not about the getting up – it’s about staying on task – 1 minute at a time –
He used the example of someone doing a workout – like on a bike or treadmill and how difficult it can be to do – and how easy it is to give up. His suggestion was that instead of giving up when it gets hard – just do one minute more – that is a win – that will move you into the next minute and before you know it you have those minutes you wanted – however you got them by focusing on only one minute more –
It’s the same for a writing project, or cleaning out the garage – do another minute when you feel like stopping and you’ll be further along in the task and most importantly in your spirit!
You create your day by the way you think – Make it magnificent!
Blessings, Shawna
