One Item, Three Ways: the Khaki Bomber

With an ever-changing range inspired by the international fashion houses, Kmart are kicking goals in the fashion stakes with great pieces at affordable prices.

I barely had a foot inside at Toowong Village on Saturday when I spotted what I think will be their next cult buy-a khaki Quilted Bomber jacket (available in size 8-18) for $25.

The perfect transseasonal piece, a bomber jacket can take you everywhere from the office to date night and even to a weekend footy game which is why I decided it had to be the feature of my next one piece, three ways series.

Khaki is a huge colour this autumn and looks great teamed with everything from black, white and navy to stripes and even pops of red.

Here are three ways I'll be wearing my Kmart Quilted Bomber this season: Step out in stripes

Stripes are a staple in my wardrobe and work back perfectly with khaki and metallic tones and this is a great outfit for racing around town getting stuff done or for casual Friday in the office. You could also swap out brogues/derbys for a pair of Converse.

I'm not one of those gals who can get around town in the cooler months without wearing a jacket. Cold Brooke is cranky Brooke, so I'll be wearing my bomber with a black skirt and top (but an LBD would also work) and a fun clutch for a night out.
