Putney Bridge
Steve Fairbairn, founder of the Head of The River Race – a 4.25 mile rowing race. This commemoration can be found at the mile mark of the Boat Race course.
Andy Holmes, Olympic Gold medalist in 1984 and 1988.
The Westminster School Boat Club is the HQ for the Oxford team – the Cambridge VIII uses nearby King’s College.
The Imperial College Boat House – “Knowledge is the adornment and protection of the Empire”.
