One From The Archive… Boat Race Special

First blogged on 2nd April 2012, here we are messing about near boats for today's Oxford v Cambridge Boat Race down on the Thames…

Steve Fairbairn, founder of the Head of The River Race – a 4.25 mile rowing race. This commemoration can be found at the mile mark of the Boat Race course.

The Westminster School Boat Club is the HQ for the Oxford team – the Cambridge VIII uses nearby King’s College.
The Imperial College Boat House – “Knowledge is the adornment and protection of the Empire”.
