One Bit Awesome, Two Bits Cold ...

As debut singles go (genuine debut singles by the way, not the ones where people say they've never released anything, but have and didn't do well with it, so said that the new single, was in fact their debut), it's not often that you'll come across something that you believe to be of the utmost professionalism, with intricate detailing, and a design which instinctively makes you fall in love ... but One Bit have managed just that with their stunning single, Cold.
You'll notice very quickly that it is along the lines of Disclosure, or BROODS, or Flume ... all of which we have taken a shine to recently and given a review or two each. The dance element is captured brilliantly and, whilst it is seemingly inspired by R'n'B too, something makes it come together in an awe-inspiring light.
We'll be honest, it is relatively simple, but simplicity doesn't tend to hurt anyone and, as simple goes, this is exactly how we like it. The beat and snap rhythm goes on for the entirety of the song, and the lyrics aren't the most captivating that we'll ever hear, but it doesn't stop you from wanting to listen over and over again, whilst learning those lyrics so that you can act like you are the vocalist ... who is absolutely on point throughout, may we add!
This is one of the most chilled out tracks we believe you'll be hearing this year and, despite the earliness of its Free release (did we forget to mention that?), we're terribly excited to hear the next few bits and pieces from them ... and to hear what on earth is going to capture us as strongly as this one has.
