Old Fashioned Vintage Country Wedding Ideas Photoshoot

By Claire

The two themes of countryside and vintage often tangle and twist together to create the most wonderful wedding styling. There’s something amusingly accurate in this: step into the local village hall for any kind of fayre or event and it really is like stepping back in time! It’s a good job we have wedding blogs to show how gorgeous ‘vintage’ styling can look…

This is part three in a trilogy of inspirational wedding shoots from my lovely friend and sponsor Alix from Lumiere Photography, and Val from Benessamy Events. Together with some talented wedding suppliers they’ve created three styled shoots to inspire you with ideas for our most popular wedding themes. See country elegance and relaxed rustic wedding style ideas as well. Today — vintage country wedding styling at its best! Val can tell you more. Enjoy! Claire x

Vintage country wedding ideas — a photoshoot with Lumiere Photography and Benessamy Events

The inspiration for this shoot was the fun of an English vintage country fete. The hay store ‘theatre’ provided the perfect opportunity for the couple to relax and enjoy a moment of reflection and a little Romeo and Juliet (the book that is being read in the photo!)
