Oh, I Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean
Oh my!  What a week its been, allsorts going on in the life of Annie Bean. Had some bad news health wise which initially caused me to feel quite rubbish.  However taking word from Jack Osbourne in a recent interview, I'm going to adapt and overcome. So, not a great start to the week but a fantastic end, as my boyfriend and I decided to take a day trip to the seaside.  We dont get many opportunities to head out on little adventures together so it was perfect, plus we had celebrations because it was his 28th birthday too! We got ready the night before, by opting for a proper packed lunch - complete with triangle sandwiches, juice boxes, chocolate cake bars and fruit. Getting up super early we hit the roads via a quick visit to my boyfriends Mum's house then onto Hunstanton beach. I decided I'd wear something quite simple because as we all know British weather can be hit and miss.  Black leggings to me are a bit of a comfort blanket so they were a certain contender, followed by boat shoes, light blue denim jacket and a mint tshirt.

What I'm Wearing: Leggings - Topshop Black, Shoes - Boat Shoes New Look, Top - Next Aqua Spot bubble hem - £14.00, Bag - Beach basket from Basket Basket - £30.00

I love mint colours at the moment so chose my fave Next Aqua Spot Bubble Hem top.
I thought for my bag I'd go for a classic seaside companion, a wicker looking bag.  The ideal arm candy for your picnic or beach bits.  This bag from Basket Basket would work perfectly for abroad holiday as well.  I have previously bought beach bags that have looked grubby or well worn very near after purchasing, so I have invested in a classic looking item.

Comes in boat print or floral

They are woven with palm leaves in Madagascar, and have soft leather handles.  Like I mentioned they are great family trips to the beach, picnics or for storage around the home.
Approximate size: length 68cm x width of base 24cm x height 41cm, Approximate size of pocket: width 13cm x height 18cm

Plenty of food and bits space

Enjoying some lunch - mighty attractive here!

My favorite enjoying some cheeky seaside chips

The lovely sea view
The trip was great,  a great way to take my mind off things plus we were super lucky with the weather (even though it was a bit windy!) and I thoroughly loved the adventure.  We even enjoyed going into the arcade for the penny falls and enjoyed eating our homemade lunch sat in front of the sea. Bliss :o)
Off on any adventures this summer?
