After presenting new 7-inch tablet last week, Google and Asus agreed on releasing protective accessories for new Nexus 7 that is specially designed by Asus and includes two types of covers and screen protectors.

Asus offers a Travel Cover that will be available in six vibrant colors (at least), so you can personalize the look of your new tablet. As for the design, you might notice the resemblance to the previous model of original TPU cover made for Nexus 7, but this one is specially designed to match new dimensions and features of Nexus 7 2. The Travel Cover is very light, though it will keep your tablet safe from different damage factors, no matter where you go. This flip cover comes with all important cut-outs, allowing you easy and fully accessible use of the tablet.

Along with the Travel Cover, Asus has designed another Nexus 7 2 cover that will provide owners of new Google tablet with more than just protection. This is a Premium Cover and it is made of a combination of materials: soft microfiber (interior) and hard poly-urethane (exterior). What makes this cover different from the first one is a stand feature, that allows the user to adjust their tablet in two positions, whether they want to watch media or simply type on their brand new 7-inch touch screen. The Premium Cover for new Nexus 7 will be available in black and white.

Another official accessory offers by Asus is a set of two screen protectors: one Matte and one Glossy new Nexus 7 screen protector. In a package you will find also a squeegee and a cleaning cloth in order to apply the films more easily and smoothly. Designed according to specific users’ needs, these screen protectors are resistant to fingerprints, glare, bubbles and most of all- scratches.
